To help us debug, please include: your iOS version, SnapCal version (shown on the Settings screen), a screenshot of the issue, and steps to reproduce.
Quick start
- On the home screen, tap "Add event from screenshot," or use the system Share sheet in any app to send an image to SnapCal.
- Wait for the AI to read it, then review the auto-extracted title, date, time, location, and notes.
- Check and edit any field, and choose which calendars to sync to.
- Confirm to write it to your calendar. Done.
Manage your subscription
SnapCal subscriptions are managed by Apple. To view, change, or cancel:
- Open iPhone Settings → tap your Apple account at the top → Subscriptions.
- Find SnapCal to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
- After canceling, you keep access through the paid period, then revert to the free plan.
Refunds are handled by Apple — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Troubleshooting
Recognition is off or missing fields?
- Use a clear, complete screenshot that includes the date and time area, and avoid cropping out key info.
- The result is a draft for you to confirm — every field is editable before saving.
- For relative times like "next Thursday," double-check the specific date the AI inferred.
Seeing a timeout or network error?
- Check your connection and try again. Complex, long images take longer to read.
- The app includes a Network Diagnostics tool (Settings → Diagnostics) to help pinpoint connection issues.
Event didn't sync to Google / Lark / Outlook?
- Confirm you authorized that calendar and selected it as a sync target before saving.
- If authorization expired, sign in to that calendar account again.
Out of free reads?
- The free plan includes 10 reads per month, resetting automatically.
- Upgrade to Monthly or Yearly for unlimited reads.
