Terms of Service

Welcome to SnapCal. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

SnapCal is an iOS app that uses AI to recognize event details in screenshots and, after your confirmation, add them to the calendars you choose (Google Calendar, Lark, Outlook, or local).

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the app. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

3. Subscriptions and billing

SnapCal offers a free allowance (10 reads per month) plus Monthly ($1.99) and Yearly ($9.9) subscriptions that unlock unlimited reads.
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple account; payment is charged by the App Store upon confirmation.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel anytime under Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Prices shown in the App Store are authoritative and may vary by region and over time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the app for any unlawful purpose, or process content you have no right to process;
attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the app or its related services;
abuse, bypass, or circumvent usage allowances and billing mechanisms.

5. Third-party services

The app interacts with third parties including Google, Microsoft, Lark, Apple, and an AI processing service. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and policies. SnapCal is not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

6. Accuracy of AI recognition

Please confirm before saving. AI recognition can be wrong or incomplete. SnapCal shows the recognized result and a confidence score for you to review and edit before writing to your calendar. You are responsible for verifying results, and SnapCal is not liable for consequences of inaccurate recognition (such as a missed or mis-recorded event).

7. Intellectual property

All rights in the app, including its design, trademarks, and related content, belong to SnapCal. The screenshots and event content you process through the app belong to you; we claim no ownership of them.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or entirely error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapCal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you breach these terms. You may also stop using and delete the app at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date on this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
